It's the 30th Day!
We celebrated the 30th day by singing to Zero my Hero and eating 30 animal crackers.

The Apple Life Cycle
The week of September 21st students learned about the apple life cycle. They also learned about Johnny Appleseed's life. The class also tasted 3 different types of apples and vote on which color they liked best. As you can see from the picture graph below red apples won this year.

Working with Partners
You may have noticed that some of your student's papers have the letters RC at the top by their name. These letters stand for Rally Coach. This is when students are working with partners and taking turns between answering and checking problems.
You may also see DT on some papers which means we did it together whole group saying all the answers out loud.
