Valentines Party

The first few responses to our letters.
During our map unit we sent out letters to 49 states asking 1st grade classes to tell us about their schools and communities. We have heard back from 3 schools so far and hope to hear back from many more over the coming weeks.

Kansas Day
We celebrated Kansas Day by frosting sunflower cookies and singing happy birthday to Kansas! Thank you so much Susie for making our yummy cookies! We also studied Kansas symbols for social studies.
