Cowtown Field Trip

Today we went to the Old Cowtown Museum in Wichita. Our class was able to see a stage coach, wagon, train station, farm house, grain scale house, general store, and a blacksmith's shop. Students were able to grind and sift dried corn, make herb and floral nosegays, knead pieces of bread dough, and see what their names would look like in morse code at the telegraph office. Everyone had a good time despite not getting to see everything due to our late start.
